Micallef has also had acting roles in the television series SeaChange (2000), Through My Eyes (2004) and Offspring (2010) as well as supporting roles in the films Bad Eggs (2003), The Honourable Wally Norman (2003), The Extra (2005), Aquamarine (2006) and The King (2007). In 2006, he was a recurring guest on the Network Ten Improvisational theatre show Thank God You're Here. In 2007, along with partners McCaffrie and Michael Ward, Micallef developed the satirical comedy program Newstopia, which he hosted. In 2009, Micallef joined the Ten Network and hosted Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation, which aired for four seasons.

The film was released in the United States in a limited release and on video on demand on September 25, 2015, by Paramount Pictures and The Film Arcade. High-school Nerd Ed Wallis (Nat Wolff) enters into a friendship with his neighbor, Ashby (Mickey Rourke), a retired CIA assassin who only has a few months to live. The film is a coming of age/approaching death comedy drama. Ashby initially tells Ed that he is a retired napkin salesman.

Maggie Esmerelda (portrayed by Emma Roberts) is a con artist working with Stanley. She poses as a fortune teller with a crystal ball and infiltrates the freak show. In "Edward Mordrake (Part 2)", while Jimmy and Maggie are hiding due to the curfew, they come across Twisty and his captives and they help them escape. She later tries to placate Stanley by taking Ma Petite to a barn and preparing to drown her, but cannot make herself kill the innocent young woman. Maggie is later revealed to be in a relationship with Jimmy, pressuring him to escape the freak show (and Stanley, though she doesn't mention this) with her.

The 2015 film Memoria, written and directed by Vladimir de Fontenay and Nina Ljeti and again starring Franco, was based in part on this book and in part on Franco's 2013 book, A California Childhood.

According to The Hollywood Reporter actress Emma Roberts was cast as Lena Haloway, the main role. In February 2013, Gregg Sulkin was cast as the role of Julian Fineman, one of Lena's love interests, but was changed to be the love interest of her best friend Hana Tate for the show. On February 25, 2013 Daren Kagasoff was cast as Alex Sheathes, the male lead and Lena's love interest. Karyn Usher penned the pilot, with Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope as executive producers. On March 1, 2013, Jeanine Mason was cast as Hana Tate. Fox later declined to pick up the pilot. The pilot episode was picked up by Hulu and was available to stream for a limited time beginning on June 20, 2014.

Brown departed from the Halloweentown franchise in 2006, after producers made the decision to recast Sara Paxton as Marnie in the fourth installment, Return to Halloweentown, a decision Brown expressed confusion and disappointment over. Fans of the franchise were unhappy with Paxton's portrayal of the character and major entertainment outlets, including BuzzFeed and MTV, were critical, with BuzzFeed saying the first three films were the best thing about Halloween while the fourth film was best left ignored and MTV saying fans should act as if the fourth film never happened. Outside of Halloweentown, Brown also starred in another Disney Channel Original Movie, the 2000 film Quints.

Bell recorded a theme song featuring his co-star Sara Paxton for the film called "Superhero! Song", which was released on April 8, 2008. In August 2008, he co-starred in the comedy College, which was shot on location in New Orleans. Bell also starred in Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh alongside Josh Peck, which began production in July 2008, and premiered on December 5, 2008. In 2009, his songs "Unbelievable" and "Modern Times", which was featured on a commercial for Twalkin, were released exclusively on MySpace. Bell was also cast in a pilot for a then upcoming CBS comedy series, Fish Tank, stating Bell's involvement is what put the series into production in the first place.

Enter Nowhere (also known as The Haunting of Black Wood) is a 2011 psychological thriller film directed by Jack Heller and starring Scott Eastwood, Sara Paxton and Katherine Waterston. The film was rereleased under the title The Haunting of Black Wood in 2015. Enter Nowhere opens with Jody (Sara Paxton) and her boyfriend Kevin (Christopher Denham) robbing a convenience store. Jody holds a gun to the cashier (Jesse J. Perez) demanding he open the safe. Cryptically, he tells her that he will do so but doesn't believe she can handle what's inside. Clearly not amused, she shoots and kills him.

She also appeared on the Aquamarine movie soundtrack with the song One Original Thing, the song was released as a single in October 2006. She has released the iTunes exclusive single "Drift Away". On December 5, 2006 Cheyenne's reality show DVD was released. Cheyenne's song "Four Walls" was released as a single in January. Cheyenne performed in the 2006 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade singing "Four Walls", and live at the Pro Bowl on February 10, 2007. In 2008, Kimball put her solo career on hold. She joined the country music band Gloriana, in which she sang and played mandolin.

Evan Peters

In 2014, Peters starred in the independent comedy film Adult World, opposite John Cusack and Emma Roberts. She has pushed her daughter Mirabella in her place, going so far as to produce an entire show around her. However, Mirabella tells her mother that she has fallen in love with Marco and is flying to Italy to marry him. Convinced the man is up to no good and will ruin Mirabella's life, Harper prepares to follow Mirabella but when she drinks a "youth potion," she finds herself transformed into her 25-year-old self.
