In 2011, GMA Network offered an afternoon line-up which continued the success of Koreana, Trudis Liit, Basahang Ginto and Bantatay. It includes Nita Negrita, Magic Palayok, Alakdana, Sisid and My Lover, My Wife. In the primetime line-up, GMA released I Heart You, Pare!, Dwarfina, Machete, Captain Barbell, Munting Heredera, the first historical drama of the Philippines entitled Amaya and they offered the first TV remake drama series Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin.

He was formally introduced on March 17, 2010 as one of the new talents to the network. His last appearance was Cassandra: Warrior Angel.

It premiered on April 30, 2007 on the network's Dramarama sa Hapon line up replacing Princess Charming. The series concluded on October 22, 2010 with a total of 21 instalments and 1,727 episodes. It was replaced by Little Star in its timeslot.

His Filipino version of the Korean drama Temptation of Wife and My Beloved both aired in 2012 and Carmela: Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Mundong Ibabaw. Then came the commercial and critical success of My Husband's Lover. Aside from television shows, Dominic directed films such as Kuya, Mulawin: The Movie, My Valentine Girl, and Boy Pick-up the Movie. In 2005, he won the Metro Manila Film Festival People's Choice Award for Best Director for his work on Mulawin, the Movie.
Bernal became part of different GMA Network shows including Boys Nxt Door, Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan, and Dyesebel. Although she started in showbiz with Escudero as her partner, Bernal garnered more attention when she was paired with present love team partner Aljur Abrenica. Later in 2009, Arci played the main antagonist role of Donna Benitez in Ngayon at Kailanman. Donna is the obsessive girlfriend of Edwin (played by JC de Vera) who will do everything for him even committing murder, kidnapping, and vile schemes. In 2010, she appeared as the Melanie Tecson, a recurring antagonist in Langit sa Piling Mo.
In May 2007, after her success in the Bakekang series as "Charming", Kurdi starred in Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso with JC de Vera. She played Jenna, a maid who has an eye on her employer's grandson. In its press conference, GMA Network crowned her as its GMA Drama Princess. On September 10, 2007, Kurdi starred again with JC de Vera in Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig, which originally starred Sharon Cuneta in 1987. After their huge success as a loveteam in Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso, GMA cast them both in Sine Novela. The network gave them an adaptation of another Sharon Cuneta movie, Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita. The series crushed its rival My Girl.
