He made a surprise appearance at Chikara's “Three-Fisted Tales” show where he and Castagnoli reunited to form the "heel" stable BDK in 2009, and went on to win the 2010 King of Trios with fellow stablemate Tursas.

After failed attempts with Pinkie Sanchez and Sami Callihan, UltraMantis saw a chance to get back at his former stable mate Hallowicked and used the Eye of Tyr in April 2009 to gain control over the mind of his Incoherence team mate Delirious to make him the third member of the Neo-Solar Temple.

This led to both men removing their masks, the larger man revealed another mask with a helmet, horns and beard, while the man with the microphone unmasked as Ares, a Swiss wrestler.

In 2010 Incoherence began feuding with Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (BDK).

After the tournament Chikara announced that Incoherence would challenge for the Campeonatos de Parejas, held by BDK's Claudio Castagnoli and Ares, on May 23 at Chikara's eighth anniversary show.

Ares' run with BDK and Chikara ended on November 13, 2011, at Chikara's first ever pay-per-view, High Noon, where he and Tim Donst were defeated in a No Disqualification match by Hallowicked and UltraMantis Black.

He would make his in-ring return on March 18, 2006, at a Westside Xtreme Wrestling event, where he defeated Ares for the wXw World Heavyweight Championship.

In 2010 Quackenbush became embroiled in a feud with Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (BDK), who had formed on the final show of 2009 and were threatening to take over Chikara, with its members quickly winning the Young Lions Cup, Campeonatos de Parejas and King of Trios, while also having one of its members as the Chikara Director of Fun.

On July 25, 2009, Quackenbush appeared on Dragon Gate USA's first pay-per-view Enter the Dragon in an eight man tag team Chikara showcase match, where Quackenbush, Jigsaw, Fire Ant and Soldier Ant defeated Gran Akuma, Icarus, Amasis and Hallowicked.

He first used a Japanese gimmick before changing it to a Swiss banker, along with Ares, together known as Swiss Money Holding.

They entered the 2006 Tag World Grand Prix, defeating Equinox and Hydra, Ranmaru and Sumie Sakai, the North Star Express (Ryan Cruz and Darin Corbin), Incoherence (Hallowicked and Delirious), and finally Team Dragondoor (Skayde and Milano Collection A.T.) to become the inaugural Chikara Campeones de Parejas.

After beating the entire tecnico roster Castagnoli aligned himself with Ares, Tursas, Pinkie Sanchez, Tim Donst, Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze to form the Bruderschaft des Kreuzes.

Following the loss, Kingston attacked Hallowicked and attempted to remove his mask.

At the end of the event Kingston's suspicions about Castagnoli were proven right as he turned rudo and formed the stable Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (BDK).

On January 31, 2010, at the season nine premiere Kingston, now a tecnico, replaced Lince Dorado, after he had turned on his tecnico teammates and joined BDK, and teamed up with Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw and Equinox in an eight-man tag team match against Castagnoli, Ares, Tursas and Dorado.

After one of them revealed himself to be Ares, and he, the still-masked other BDK member, Claudio Castagnoli, Carpenter Ant (who later unmasked to reveal he was Pinkie Sanchez), Sara Del Rey and Daizee Haze started to beat down members of the tecnico roster who came to ringside, Vökoder beat down UltraMantis and returned the Eye to Ares.

He then joined the new group, which became known as Bruderschaft des Kreuzes.

For most of 2011, Donst feuded with Hallowicked, which saw the two men captaining opposite teams in the eighth annual torneo cibernetico match on November 12.

He trained on the first term of the school alongside the likes of Hallowicked and Icarus.

This time both men removed their masks and revealed themselves as Ares and Tursas.

Following the event, UltraMantis met with Quackenbush and claimed that in order to defeat the new group, named Bruderschaft des Kreuzes, tecnicos and rudos would have to join forces as they now had a common enemy.

The first Chikara Torneo Cibernetico took place on October 30, 2004, in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, and featured "Sweet 'n' Sour International" (Larry Sweeney (captain), Crossbones, Hallowicked, Mano Metalico, Rorschach, ShareCropper, Spyrazul and UltraMantis Black) wrestling against the team of Jigsaw (captain), DJ Skittlez, Gran Akuma, Icarus, Jolly Roger, Mister Zero, Private Eye and Shane Storm.

Chikara's seventh annual Torneo Cibernetico was held on October 23, 2010, in Easton, PA, and saw "Team Chikara" (UltraMantis Black (captain), Hallowicked, Icarus, Jigsaw, Eddie Kingston, Mike Quackenbush, STIGMA, and Vökoder) taking on "Der Bruderschaft des Kreuzes" (Ares (captain), Claudio Castagnoli, Sara Del Rey, Delirious, Tim Donst, Daizee Haze, Pinkie Sanchez, and Tursas).

In November 2009, she was placed in her first major storyline in the company, when she turned into a villain and aligned herself with Claudio Castagnoli, Ares, Daizee Haze, Pinkie Sanchez, Tim Donst and Tursas to form the stable Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (BDK).

On May 18, 2008, at Chikara's Grit and Glory show they challenged the Campeones de Parejas, Incoherence (Delirious and Hallowicked), for the titles, but were defeated in two straight falls.

On April 23, 2010, The Osirian Portal got in on the 2010 King of Trios tournament through a back door, when a random draw picked them to replace Team Mexico, who no-showed the event, and face the Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (BDK) (Ares, Claudio Castagnoli and Tursas) in the first round.

On April 21 the twelve participants were announced as Amasis, Brodie Lee, Claudio Castagnoli, Eddie Kingston, Fire Ant, Hallowicked, Icarus, Jigsaw, Mike Quackenbush, Sara Del Rey, UltraMantis Black and Vin Gerard.

After months of threats from a mysterious man dressed in white, on November 22, 2009, a new top rudo stable, Bruderschaft des Kreuzes (BDK), was formed, with Ares and Claudio Castagnoli as its leaders.
