Hamasaki's eleventh studio album Rock 'n' Roll Circus was released on April 14, 2010.

In July, entertainment company Livespire announced that Hamasaki's 2009 Next Level tour would be shown in 3D at Toho cinemas nationwide beginning on August 28.
