A report on Chereti (woreda)

Part of the Afder Zone, Afder is bordered on the south by Dolobay, on the west by Chereti, on the north by Elkere, on the west by the Gode Zone, and on the southeast by Bare.

Part of the Afder Zone, Elekere is bordered on the southeast by Afder, on the southwest by Cherti, on the west by Goro Bekeksa, on the north by Mirab Imi, and on the east by Gode Zone.

Part of the Afder Zone, Dolobay is bordered on the south by the Provisional Administrative Line with Somalia, on the west by the Ganale Dorya River which separates it from the Liben Zone, on the northwest by Cherti, on the north by Afder, and on the east by Bare.

Part of the Liban Zone, Goro Bekeksa is bounded on the south by the Ganale Dorya River which separates it from the Liben Zone, on the west by Guradamole, on the north by the Oromia Region, on the northeast by Elekere, and on the southeast by Cherti.

It is the largest town in Chereti woreda.
