A report on Claroteidae and Chrysichthys

Chrysichthys is a genus of claroteid catfishes native to Africa.

Two commonly known species are the giraffe catfish, Auchenoglanis occidentalis, and the African big-eye catfish, Chrysichthys longipinnis.
