Chrysler LH engine

It uses a 2736 cc EER V6 making 190 hp. In Canada, it comes standard with the Touring model's 3518 cc V6 engine.
Horsepower again dropped in 2009 on the LX cars to 178 hp on the Chrysler 300 and Charger, but remains at 189 for the Chrysler Sebring.

The five-door station wagon was sold as the 300C Touring (not to be confused with the North American notchback sedan's "Touring" trim level), which shared much of its sheet metal aft of the C-pillar and wheel designs with the Dodge Magnum.
The new Magnum was a badge engineered station wagon version of the Chrysler 300 manufactured at the same plant in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.

The top-of-the-line 300C version uses a 5.7 L (345 cu in) Hemi V8. Using the Multidisplacement System (MDS), this engine can run on four cylinders when less power is needed in order to reduce total fuel consumption.
Chrysler later made the 5.7 L Hemi available in all models of the 2004 Dodge Ram, Dodge Durango, the 2005 Chrysler 300C, Dodge Magnum R/T, Jeep Grand Cherokee, the 2006 Dodge Charger R/T, and the 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T.
