Far North District

It stretches from North Cape and Cape Reinga in the north, down to the Bay of Islands, the Hokianga and the town of Kaikohe. The current mayor is former local Member of Parliament John Carter.

Since the October 2013 local elections, he has been mayor of the Far North District.
