Selwyn College is a co-educational state secondary school in Kohimarama, Auckland, New Zealand.

Selwyn College was built in 1956 to service Auckland's rapidly growing suburban sprawl during the post-war population boom and newly developed areas such as Meadowbank–St. Johns and Kohimarama–Ōrākei.

Local government of Kohimarama is the responsibility of the Ōrākei Local Board, which also includes the suburbs of Ōrākei, Mission Bay, St Heliers, Glendowie, St Johns, Meadowbank, Remuera and Ellerslie.

Ōrākei was the first location where the New Zealand Flying School operated from between October and November 1915, before moving to Mission Bay, and a permanent location at Kohimarama in 1916.
