Los Mercenarios (Spanish for "The Mercenaries") is a villainous professional wrestling stable performing in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, consisting of La Máscara, Texano Jr., Rey Escorpión, and El Hijo del Fantasma.

It was formed in April 2014 by La Máscara, Rush and La Sombra, and has since become renowned as one of the top antagonistic groups in CMLL history.

Alvarado worked for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) since 2001 until 2017, during that time he won several championships including the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship, CMLL World Tag Team Championship, CMLL World Trios Championship, NWA World Historic Middleweight Championship, Mexican National Light Heavyweight Championship, Mexican National Trios Championship, and Mexican National Welterweight Championship.
Only two teams have held the title on more than one occasion, Los Infernales and the trio of Héctor Garza, Hijo del Fantasma and La Máscara.

Alvarado is a founding member of Los Ingobernables along with Rush and La Sombra.
On May 14, 2010, La Sombra teamed up with Máscara Dorada and La Máscara to defeat the then CMLL World Trios Champions La Ola Amarilla ("The Yellow Wave"; Hiroshi Tanahashi, Okumura, and Taichi) in a non-title match to earn a shot at the Championship the following week.

Many of Felipe Alvarado's cousins are also wrestlers including Psycho Clown, Máximo Sexy and Goya Kong among others.
In 2003 he along with his brother (now working as Brazo de Platino Jr.) and his cousin (working as Brazo de Oro Jr. began working for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) the same company his father worked for.

many of the Alvarado family have been, or currently are professional wrestlers, including family patriarch Shadito Cruz and uncles who worked under the ring names Brazo de Plata, El Brazo, Brazo Cibernético.
All six sons of Shadito Cruz have lost their masks as results of losing Luchas de Apuestas or "bet matches", while none of the third generation Brazos (except La Máscara and Goya Kong) lost their masks in the same manner.

While working for CMLL the promotion allows their wrestlers to appear on pre-approved independently promoted shows around Mexico, which has allowed Robin to team with several of his family members, often working in Trios matches with his uncle Brazo de Platino or cousins La Mascara, Brazo de Platino Jr., El Brazo Jr., and Super Brazo Jr. The Alvarado family was particularly active in the Acapulco, Guerrero region where Robin challenged for the Guerrero State Light Heavyweight title, but lost.

He held the title for over a year, before he lost the belt to Sangre Azteca on December 17, 2006.
His first singles title was the Mexican National Welterweight Championship, which he won by defeating La Mascara in 2006.

2005 turned out to be Atlantis' strongest and most successful year as he also won that year's Leyenda de Plata tournament, as well as teaming up with La Máscara to win the 2005 Gran Alternativa.

The May 7, 2010 Super Viernes show featured a total of six matches, with the main event being the CMLL World Trios Champions Héctor Garza, El Hijo del Fantasma and La Máscara defending the title against La Ola Amarilla (Hiroshi Tanahashi, Okumura and Taichi).

On February 17, 2013 Súper Brazo and the rest of the Alvarado family held a special show, Homenaje a Shadito Cruz ("Homage to Shadito Cruz") where he teamed up with his brother Brazo de Platino and competed in the La Copa Shadito Cruz tournament, defeating El Hijo de Fishman and El Hijo de Canek before losing to their nephews Máximo and La Máscara in the semi-finals of the tournament.

On January 29, 2010, Negro Casas teamed up with La Máscara to participate in CMLL's "Torneo Nacional de Pareja Increíbles" ("National Amazing Pairs tournament"), a tournament where CMLL teams up a Tecnico (La Máscara) and a Rudo (Casas) for a tournament.
