He has been invited in particular by the Lausanne Opera chamber orchestra, the Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg, the Orchestre régional de Normandie, the Orchestre symphonique de Mulhouse, the Orchestre of Auvergne, the Orchestre symphonique de Bretagne, the Opéra national de Lorraine orchestra, the orchestre national de Lyon, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra and the Wurtemberg philharmonic orchestra.
From 1989-1990 he was General Director of the Paris Opera and from 1994 to 1999 he was General Director of the Lausanne Opera.

Another key role (also recorded for Chandos) has been Don José in Carmen in which he made his debut at the Vienna State Opera and which he has also sung for the English National Opera, Zurich Opera, Opera Australia, Lausanne Opera, Royal Swedish Opera, and the Teatro Real in Madrid.

In 1986 Nespolo had the possibility of designing the stage sets for Ferruccio Busoni’s opera Turandot at Connecticut Grand Opera, Stamford, the first of several theatre works he made in the following years, such as the sets and costumes for Paisiello's Don Chisciotte at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma in 1990 and for Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, a production for the Rome Opera, the Paris Opera and the Lausanne Opera, Liège and Metz in 1995.

In 2015, Peretyatko debuted to rave reviews as Violetta in La traviata at the Opéra Lausanne, followed by a new production of the same title at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden.
In the season 2011/2012 he sang in Don Pasquale at the Teatro Municipal de Santiago de Chile, in I Capuleti e i Montecchi at the Opéra de Lyon and the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, in Pulcinella with the Netherland Radio Chamber Philarmonic, in Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Hamburgosche Staatsoper and at the Wiener Staatsoper and he debuted as Oronte in Alcina at the Opéra de Lausanne.
Amelia al ballo is still periodically performed, with productions in the 2008/2009 seasons in Vichy, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo, as well as a 2010 double bill with Menotti's The Telephone in Tours, using the 2006 co-production by Lausanne Opera and the Opéra Comique.
