CMLL 67th Anniversary Show

67th Anniversary
The show consisted of five matches, with the main event also being the finals of that year's Leyenda de Plata tournament between Negro Casas and Dr. Wagner Jr. Unlike previous Leyendas de Plata tournaments the final did not involve the previous year's winner (Hijo del Santo) since he was not working for CMLL at that time.

Blue Panther

The qualifying Cibernetico took place on November 26, 1999 and saw El Hijo del Santo outlast a field of 15 other wrestlers including Antifaz del Norte, Bestia Salvaje, BlacK warrior, Blue Panther, Emilio Charles Jr., El Felino, Fuerza Guerrera, Negro Casas, Olímpico, Rey Bucanero, Satánico, Tarzan Boy, Tony Rivera, Último Guerrero and Zumbido. The semi-finalsts were Dr. Wagner Jr. and Negro Casas, outlasting Antifaz del Norte, Atlantis, Astro Rey Jr., Black Warrior, Blue Panther, El Felino, Fuerza Guerrera, Olímpico, Rey Bucanero, Safari, Satánico, Scorpio Jr., Tarzan Boy and Zumbido.
He also won the 1999 Torneo Gran Alternativa and the 2000 Leyenda de Plata tournaments.

The semi-finalsts were Dr. Wagner Jr. and Negro Casas, outlasting Antifaz del Norte, Atlantis, Astro Rey Jr., Black Warrior, Blue Panther, El Felino, Fuerza Guerrera, Olímpico, Rey Bucanero, Safari, Satánico, Scorpio Jr., Tarzan Boy and Zumbido. In the weeks leading up to the first cibernetico Perro Aguayo Jr. was injured and had to pull out of the match, he was replaced by fellow Los Perros del Mal member Mr. Águila, who'd go on to win the qualifier over Negro Casas, El Felino, Tarzan Boy, Mephisto, Máximo, Alex Koslov, Stuka Jr., Volador Jr. and Mictlán.

In 2001 Black Warrior entered the Leyenda de Plata (the silver legend) tournament, still a rudo but hearing the cheers of the crowd more and more.

2005 turned out to be Atlantis' strongest and most successful year as he also won that year's Leyenda de Plata tournament, as well as teaming up with La Máscara to win the 2005 Gran Alternativa.

The tournament honors El Santo, Enmáscarado de Plata (the Silver mask) and has been held every year since 1998 except for 2003 when El Hijo del Santo (El Santo's son) did not work for CMLL.
He's also won the Leyenda de Plata tournament (held in honor of his father), the 1995 version of the CMLL International Gran Prix tournament and the 2004 Gran Alternativa tournament.

In the weeks leading up to the first cibernetico Perro Aguayo Jr. was injured and had to pull out of the match, he was replaced by fellow Los Perros del Mal member Mr. Águila, who'd go on to win the qualifier over Negro Casas, El Felino, Tarzan Boy, Mephisto, Máximo, Alex Koslov, Stuka Jr., Volador Jr. and Mictlán.
Stuka Jr.'s first headline exposure came when he participated in the first Torneo cibernetico qualifier for the 2007 Leyenda de Plata tournament on May 18, 2007, where he was eliminated by eventual winner Mr. Águila.

The International Gran Prix tournament took place on the same night of the finals of the Leyenda de Plata ("Silver Legend") tournament where Místico defeated Perro Aguayo Jr. to win that tournament.

CMLL 78th Anniversary Show

The second cibernetico took place on September 30 at CMLL's 78th Anniversary Show and was won by Jushin Thunder Liger, who outlasted Diamante, Dragón Rojo Jr., Fuego, Hijo del Signo, Olímpico, Máscara Dorada, Mephisto, Metro, Rey Escorpión, Sangre Azteca and Virus.
The show featured three additional matches, including the first round of 2011 Leyenda de Plata tournament.

Leono

On May 25, 2007 El Sagrado qualified for his first ever Leyenda semi-final as he outlasted Averno, Ephesto, virus, El Texano Jr., Leono, Loco Max, Valiente, Heavy Metal and BlacK Warrior.
He also competed in the 2007 Leyenda de Plata ("Legend of the Silver") tournament, at the time CMLL's most prestigious annual tournament.
