The Mohana River (also called Mohani River/Mohane River) flows through the Hazaribagh, Chatra and Gaya districts in the Indian states of Jharkhand and Bihar.

The Phalgu is formed by the confluence, some 2 mi below Bodh Gaya, of the Lilajan (also called Niranjan or Nilanjan) and the Mohana, two large hill streams each of which is over 300 yd wide.
