The stable was created in 1984 and consisted of El Satánico, MS-1 and Espectro, Jr..
El Satánico was one of the main members of the Los Infernales ("The Infernal Ones") stable from its creation in the early 1980s through 2008 and was a member of every single incarnation of the group.

The stable was created in 1984 and consisted of El Satánico, MS-1 and Espectro, Jr..
As MS-1, Fuentes was a founding member of the wrestling group called Los Infernales (the Infernals) and achieved most of his success as part of the group, including being the first Mexican National Trios Champions and the first CMLL World Trios Champions.

Pirata Morgan

A later version where Pirata Morgan replaced Espectro, Jr. is considered the "classic" Infernales team that helped popularize the "Trios" team concept in Lucha Libre.
Pirata Morgan has been a member of the Trio Los Infernales from the mid-1980s to the mid-1990s and as part of that group he was one third of the first Mexican National Trios Champions and CMLL World Trios Champions.

MS-1, Satánico and Pirata Morgan were both the first Mexican National Trios Champions and the first CMLL World Trios Champions.
The first champions were Los Infernales ("The Infernal Ones"; MS-1, Pirata Morgan and El Satánico) who won a tournament on November 22, 1991.

MS-1, Satánico and Pirata Morgan were both the first Mexican National Trios Champions and the first CMLL World Trios Champions.
In 1993 then champions Los Infernales ("The Infernal Ones"; MS-1, Pirata Morgan, and El Satánico) left EMLL to join AAA, taking the trios championship with them after approval by the commission.

The current version of Los Infernales consists of El Satánico, Euforia and Nosferatu, at times Virus acts as the leader of the group with Satánico working a reduced schedule.
He was formerly part of the groups Los Nuevos Infernales led by El Satánico and later Virus, followed by Los Cancerberos del Infierno ("The Infernal Cerberusses") with Virus, Raziel, Cancerbero and Pólvora, while also forming a tag team with Nosferatu.

A later version of Los Infernales, Los Nuevo Infernales became the stable known as Los Guerreros del Infierno after they turned on Satánico and formed a rival stable.

In the finals Los Infernales defeated Los Brazos ("the Arms"; El Brazo, Brazo de Oro and Brazo de Plata) to become the first ever Mexican National Trios champions.
Despite losing their masks Los Brazos remained successful in the ring winning various tag team and trios titles such as the UWA World Tag Team Championship, UWA World Trios Championship, WWA World Tag Team Championship and the WWA World Trios Championship By the 1990s Los Brazos worked mainly for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) where Brazo de Plata, Brazo de Oro and El Brazo won the CMLL World Trios Championship from Los Infernales (Pirata Morgan, Satánico and MS-1) on April 6, 1993.

Masakre

In October, 1986 Pirata Morgan left the group to form a new group called "Los Bucaneros", in his place Los Infernales recruited Masakre to be their third member.
As Masakre he was a member of the wrestling group Los Infernales along with MS-1 and El Satánico and a founding member of the group Los Intocables along with Pierroth, Jr. and Jaque Mate.

MS-1 and Masakre defended the Mexican National Tag Team titles for just over a year until losing them to Atlantis and Ángel Azteca on April 6, 1988.
By 1988 Atlantis had formed a regular tag team with Ángel Azteca and on March 6, 1988, the duo defeated Los Infernales (Masakre and MS-1 to win the Mexican National Tag Team Championship.

On March 20, 1987 MS-1 and Masakre teamed up to defeat Los Hermanos Dinamita (Cien Caras and Máscara Año 2000) to win the Mexican National Tag Team Championship, starting a feud with Los Hermanos Dinamita.
They held and successfully defended the title for almost a year before losing it to Los Infernales (MS-1 and Masakre) on March 26, 1987.

Former Infernales member Masakre had formed his own group, Los Intocables (the Untouchables) consisting of himself, Pierroth, Jr. and Jaque Mate (Checkmate).

Satánico formed his own "Infernales", the storyline was that he used his "satanic influences" to turn Rencor Latino into Averno (Hell) and Astro Rey, Jr. into Mephisto to form Los Infernales and fight Los Nuevo Infernales.
Since adopting the Mephisto gimmick he has been associated with the group Los Infernales ("The Infernal Ones") and later on Los Hijos del Averno ("The Sons of Hell"), especially working closely with Averno as his regular tag team partner for years.

On September 28, 2001, at the CMLL 68th Anniversary Show, Satánico's team won the right to the Infernales name and forced Máscara Mágica to unmask.
The show consisted of five matches, with the main event being a Lucha de Apuestas, elimination steel cage match where all seven competitors put their mask on the line, also on the line was the right to use the name Los Infernales, the winning team would claim the name.

In the late 1990s Satánico reformed Los Infernales, recruiting the nephew of Pirata Morgan, Rey Bucanero and Último Guerrero to form Los Nuevo Infernales (the new Infernals).
In 1999 El Satánico reformed the group Los Infernales, recruiting Último Guerrero and Rey Bucanero; Rey's uncle Pirata Morgan had been part of the original Los Infernales.

In 2000 Máscara Mágica joined Los Nuevo Infernales, filling in for an injured Tarzan Boy, teaming with Último Guerrero and Rey Bucanero.
