In the late 1990s Pierroth became known as Comandante Pierroth or simply Pierroth, leader of a faction of pro-Puerto Rican wrestlers in CMLL known as Los Boricuas, notwithstanding him being born in Mexico.
The group was founded and led by Pierroth in 2000 and was together until the end of 2003 where it disbanded.

Pierrothito

Several other wrestlers have used the name Pierroth or derivatives there off over the years, with approval from Salgado, currently Pierrothito is the only wrestler actively using the name.
Pierrothito is Spanish for "Little Pierroth", alluding to the fact that he wrestles as a mini version of Pierroth, Jr.; he is sometimes billed as "Mini Pierroth" or "Pequeño Pierroth".

Pierroth Jr. began teaming with Bestia Salvaje on a regular basis in either late 1989 or early 1990, forming a team that the EMLL officials decided should win the Mexican National Tag Team Championship from then-champions Ángel Azteca and Atlantis.
He quickly regained the title, defeating Charles Jr. on July 20, 1988, and held it for two weeks before losing the title back to Emilio Charles Jr. On May 25, 1990, after an 811-day reign, Atlantis and Ángel Azteca lost the Mexican Nation Tag Team Championship to Pierroth Jr. and Bestia Salvaje.

On April 2, 1993 the collaboration between the two companies led to Dr. Wagner Jr. defeating Pierroth Jr. to win the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship.

Pierroth Jr. defeated Jerry Estrada to become the second ever CMLL World Light Heavyweight Champion, starting a reign that would last 379 days.
Jerry Estrada was chosen as the first champion, with CMLL booking the tournament for the championship to end with Estrada defeating Pierroth Jr. In 1996 the then-champion Dr. Wagner Jr. lost the championship to Aquarius on a show in Japan, but the title change was not approved by CMLL and thus was never officially recognized.

Afterwards he was put together with Jaque Mate and Masakre to form a trio called "Los Intocables" ("The Untouchables").
As Masakre he was a member of the wrestling group Los Infernales along with MS-1 and El Satánico and a founding member of the group Los Intocables along with Pierroth, Jr. and Jaque Mate.

Pierroth Jr. was paired up with Cibernético for the WWF shows, making their debut on the December 16, 1996 Raw is War show by defeating the New Rockers (Marty Jannetty and Leif Cassidy).
During AAA's short partnership with the World Wrestling Federation, he participated in the 1997 Royal Rumble and wrestled on Raw is War and WWF Shotgun Saturday Night, often teaming with Pierroth, Jr. He is a former AAA Mega Champion as well as a former three time Campeón de Campeones, the predecessor to the AAA world championship.
