On May 5, 2013 Sky was the last man eliminated in the finals of the Red Carpet Rumble to crown the first ever CWFH Heritage Heavyweight Champion by Shaun Ricker.
On May 5, 2013, Scorpio Sky pinned Shaun Ricker in a rematch from the Red Carpet Rumble tournament, from earlier that day, to win the CWFH Heritage Heavyweight Championship.

At the age of 18 or 19, Matt began his professional wrestling training in La Mirada and City of Industry, California at the Revolution Pro Wrestling School called Rudos Dojo, training primarily under Ron Rivera (The American Wild Child), Disco Machine, Scorpio Sky and Super Dragon, among others.

Arrogance lost the titles to Quicksilver and Scorpio Sky in a titles vs. masks match.
