Singaporean National Badminton Championships

Ong won the Singapore Open men's singles title four times from 1952 to 1955 and the men's doubles title seven times from 1950 to 1956 with Ismail Marjan.

In 1938, Wong won his first Singapore Open singles title and went on to win the tournament six more times in 1939, 1940, 1941, 1947, 1948 and 1949.

Pennefather won the Singaporean National Badminton Championships women's singles in 1931, 1932, 1934 and 1937.

He subsequently emerged champion in various tournaments from 1936 to 1940, winning the Malaysia Open singles title in 1938, the Singapore Open singles and men's double titles in (1936,1937,1940) and (1936,1937).

As a pair, they also won consecutive Singapore Open men's doubles titles from 1950 to 1956.

In 2005 and 2007, he won the Singaporean National Badminton Championships.
