It is now part of the municipality of Bregaglia. On 1 January 2010 the municipalities of Bondo, Castasegna, Soglio, Stampa, and Vicosoprano were merged into a new municipality of Bregaglia.
It was formed by the 2010 merger of the municipalities of Bondo, Castasegna, Soglio, Stampa and Vicosoprano, all located in the Val Bregaglia.
