Supercard of Honor IX

Supercard of Honor IX was the 9th Supercard of Honor professional wrestling event produced by Ring of Honor (ROH), which took place on March 27, 2015 at The Sports House in Redwood City, California.

At 13th Anniversary Samoa Joe returned to Ring of Honor in his first appearance since 2008.

On March 27 at Supercard of Honor IX, Samoa Joe returned to ROH in-ring action for the first time since 2008 to face Jay Briscoe, who defeated Samoa Joe to retain the ROH World Championship.

Samoa Joe came out and cut a promo laying claim to the ROH World Heavyweight Championship, challenging World Champion, Jay Briscoe in the process.

On March 27, 2015, at Supercard of Honor IX, Jay Briscoe defeated Samoa Joe in Joe's return match to Ring of Honor successfully retaining the ROH World Championship.

At 13th Anniversary Samoa Joe returned to Ring of Honor in his first appearance since 2008.

On March 28 addition of Ring of Honor television, The Decade members B.J. Whitmer and Adam Page came out to the ring and cut a promo on Steve Corino making it seem like they wanted him to join them.

This caused friction between Jacobs and Whitmer, feeling that taking Corino's son was too much, leading to Jacobs leaving the Decade and facing Whitmer at Supercard of Honor IX, with Whitmer coming out on top.

Jimmy Jacobs ran out and tried to neutralize the situation and ends up sending The Decade out of the ring.

On March 28, 2015, Jacobs lost to Whitmer at Supercard of Honor IX, and was attacked by Whitmer and The Decade following the match.

On March 28 addition of Ring of Honor television, The Decade members B.J. Whitmer and Adam Page came out to the ring and cut a promo on Steve Corino making it seem like they wanted him to join them.

This caused friction between Jacobs and Whitmer, feeling that taking Corino's son was too much, On March 27, 2015 at Supercard of Honor IX Whitmer defeated Jimmy Jacobs.
