On June 9, 2007, Homicide and his Latin American Xchange partner Hernandez defeated Jay Lethal and Azrieal to win the JAPW Tag Team titles, which they would hold for over a year before dropping them to The Full Blooded Italians of Little Guido and Tracy Smothers on November 15, 2008.

On the edition of October 19 of Impact! LAX started a feud with America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris) by attacking them after the four of them had lost an eight-man tag team match against Styles, Daniels and the James Gang.
On the December 14, 2006 episode of Impact!, America's Most Wanted came to an end after a feud-ending match with The Latin American Xchange (Homicide and Hernandez) when Storm hit Harris with a beer bottle, temporarily "blinding" Harris's right eye.

LAX emerged from the breakup of 4Live Kru (newly added member Kip James), which was the result of Konnan being tired of the shenanigans between B.G. James and Kip James.

LAX emerged from the breakup of 4Live Kru (newly added member Kip James), which was the result of Konnan being tired of the shenanigans between B.G. James and Kip James.
With Konnan and Killings no longer members of the Kru, Kip and B.G. began referring to themselves as The James Gang and continued to feud with the Konnan-managed Latin American Exchange, whose third man position as Homicide's partner would switch from Apolo to Machete, and then from him to Hernandez, who finally stuck, during the course of this feud.

On the July 20 episode of Impact!, the NWA World Tag Team Champions A.J. Styles and Christopher Daniels made an open challenge in which they offered any team on the TNA roster a contract to face them for the titles, including LAX, who would then proceed to attack the champions, causing both of them to bleed, and then signed the contract with Daniels' blood.
Konnan interrupted them from the Spanish announce table and accused them of not having The Latin American Xchange (LAX) within their contracts, and called them racist.

During the November 16 episode of Impact!, LAX nearly burned the American flag, as they promised one week earlier, but were stopped by Petey Williams.
Williams was invited to watch The Latin American Xchange burn the American flag during the November 16 edition of Impact!, but he would make his first face turn after refusing to torch the flag.
