A report on USS Nestor (ARB-6)

Planned as a United States Navy, but was redesignated as one of twelve Aristaeus-class battle damage repair ships built for the United States Navy during World War II.

LST-826 and USS LST-823, along with USS Nestor (ARB-6), three floating docks and some smaller craft, were included in the May batch, and were sold to the Oklahoma-Philippines Co. for scrapping.
