Afterwards, he teamed up with another Wrestle Factory graduate, Mister Zero, to form the tag team Ultra/Zero, and together they would feud with The Wildcards (Eddie Kingston and BlackJack Marciano) for most of 2003. With their newest recruit, the Order went on a winning streak, which included tag team victories over The Super Smash Bros. (Player Uno and Player Dos), The Roughnecks (Eddie Kingston and Grizzly Redwood) and The Colony (Carpenter Ant and Green Ant) and a trios victory over Mike Quackenbush, Claudio Castagnoli and Skayde.
In 2003 Kingston and Marciano began feuding with Mister ZERO and UltraMantis, the team known collectively as Ultra/ZERO.

The long feud ended on July 5, 2003, when Ultra/Zero defeated The Wildcards in the semifinals of the inaugural Tag World Grand Prix.
The teams of The Dark Breed (Hallowicked and UltraMantis Black) and Angel de Fuego and Equinox were scheduled to enter the tournament, however, UltraMantis Black had to pull out due to an injury, while Angel de Fuego no-showed the event.

UltraMantis started his professional wrestling training in 2002 at the brand new Chikara Wrestle Factory, where he was trained by Mike Quackenbush and Reckless Youth.
In order to find out who leaked the move, Quackenbush sent Tim Donst to infiltrate the rudo stable the Order of the Neo-Solar Temple, led by UltraMantis Black.

For the 2004 torneo cibernetico, the Dark Breed joined Larry Sweeney's faction Sweet 'n' Sour International, but after neither of them managed to win the match, they left the faction.
The first Chikara Torneo Cibernetico took place on October 30, 2004 in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, and featured "Sweet 'n' Sour International" (Larry Sweeney (captain), Crossbones, Hallowicked, Mano Metalico, Rorschach, ShareCropper, Spyrazul and UltraMantis Black) wrestling against the team of Jigsaw (captain), DJ Skittlez, Gran Akuma, Icarus, Jolly Roger, Mister Zero, Private Eye and Shane Storm.

On April 19, 2008, UltraMantis defeated Tim Donst, whom he had dropped on his head in Donst's debut the previous year, with the Praying Mantis Bomb.

At the conclusion of the show Ares revealed himself as the man who had been stalking UltraMantis Black, at which point Castagnoli turned rudo by attacking Mike Quackenbush.

Following the event, UltraMantis met with Quackenbush and claimed that in order to defeat the new group, named Bruderschaft des Kreuzes, tecnicos and rudos would have to join forces as they now had a common enemy.
Quackenbush, wanting to find out who had leaked the move and the counter to it to Hero, sent Tim Donst to infiltrate the rudo (villain) stable The Order of the Neo-Solar Temple, led by UltraMantis Black.

Frightmare (wrestler)

On November 22, 2009, during the season eight finale titled Three-Fisted Tales, UltraMantis and Delirious defeated Hallowicked and his new Incoherence partner Frightmare to earn their third point, which meant that they could now challenge for the Chikara Campeonatos de Parejas.
However, after the match Incoherence suffered a major loss, when UltraMantis Black and Crossbones kidnapped Delirious, who would return the following month, aligned with them as the third member of the Order of the Neo-Solar Temple.

With UltraMantis out with an injury, Hallowicked became a tecnico after forming the tag team Incoherence with tecnico wrestler Delirious.
The team came about at Chikara's Tag World Grand Prix in 2006 when Hallowicked's original partner, UltraMantis Black, was unable to compete due to injury.

On October 19 it was announced that Vökoder would take the final open spot on UltraMantis Black's Team Chikara in the torneo cibernetico match, where they would face BDK.

The Batiri

In the end, Hallowicked and Frightmare made the save for UltraMantis and chased Bodhi's group, later named The Batiri, out of the ring.
The following day, Kodama and Obariyon revealed themselves as the two mysterious hooded men, who had been following UltraMantis Black since July.

Chikara High Noon

On November 13 at High Noon, UltraMantis and Hallowicked defeated Ares and Tim Donst in a No Disqualification match with UltraMantis pinning Ares to regain the Eye of Tyr.
On April 21 the twelve participants were announced as Amasis, Brodie Lee, Claudio Castagnoli, Eddie Kingston, Fire Ant, Hallowicked, Icarus, Jigsaw, Mike Quackenbush, Sara Del Rey, UltraMantis Black and Vin Gerard.

On the third and final day of the tournament, the Spectral Envoy first defeated F.I.S.T. (Chuck Taylor, Icarus and Johnny Gargano) in the semifinals and then Team ROH (Mike Bennett, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) in the finals, despite interference from Delirious, The Batiri and Ophidian, to win the 2012 King of Trios.
In the finals of the tournament, Team ROH was defeated by the Spectral Envoy (Frightmare, Hallowicked and UltraMantis Black), when Bennett submitted to Hallowicked's Chikara Special.

Vin Gerard

However, on November 17, 2007, Hero had been able to break the hold and use it himself to win his feud against Equinox.
This led to Gerard forfeiting his match with UltraMantis Black so he could concentrate on Kingston, and on October 30, Gerard defeated the previously undefeated Kingston via submission in the final round-robin match of the tournament.

Under the Hood

On December 2 at Chikara's third internet pay-per-view, Under the Hood, UltraMantis Black led Frightmare, Hallowicked and the returning Blind Rage and Crossbones to a ten-man tag team match, where they defeated Delirious, Kobald, Kodama, Obariyon and Ophidian, with UltraMantis pinning Delirious for the win.
Other featured matches saw the culmination of two year-long storylines, with UltraMantis Black leading his Spectral Envoy stable to take on a team led by Delirious and a match where two teams, mixed of representatives of both Chikara and the villainous Gekido stable, battled each other.

Akira Tozawa

Later in the night, the Spectral Envoy was eliminated from the King of Trios tournament in the first round by Team Dragon Gate (Akira Tozawa, KAGETORA and Super Shisa).
In the first round of the tournament, Team Dragon Gate defeated the Spectral Envoy (UltraMantis Black, Hallowicked and Frightmare).

On February 25, UltraMantis and Hallowicked challenged F.I.S.T. (Chuck Taylor and Icarus) for the Campeonatos de Parejas, but were defeated when Delirious made his return and cost the two the match.
On February 25, 2012, Icarus again replaced an injured Gargano in a title defense, where F.I.S.T. defeated the Spectral Envoy (Hallowicked and UltraMantis Black).

On the third and final day of the tournament, the Spectral Envoy first defeated F.I.S.T. (Chuck Taylor, Icarus and Johnny Gargano) in the semifinals and then Team ROH (Mike Bennett, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) in the finals, despite interference from Delirious, The Batiri and Ophidian, to win the 2012 King of Trios.
While Gargano was sidelined with a back injury, Icarus replaced him and together with Chuck Taylor successfully defended the Campeonatos de Parejas on February 25, 2012, against the Spectral Envoy (Hallowicked and UltraMantis Black), before losing the title to 3.0 on March 24.
