Haire was a superb administrator and with Dora Russell he organised the World League for Sexual Reform's highly successful 1929 congress in London which many of the world's avant-garde attended.

Despite this, in 1929 she brought forward her lecture "The Right to Abortion" in front of the World Sexual Reform Congress in London.

Francis Turville-Petre

In 1928 Francis Turville-Petre, British archaeologist and friend of Christopher Isherwood, stayed at Hirschfeld's Institute of Sexual Research in Weimar Berlin.
Whilst based in Berlin Turville-Petre was an active member of the Scientific Humanitarian Committee, which campaigned for gay legal reform and tolerance, and attended the Congress of the World League for Sexual Reform (also founded by Hirschfeld) in Copenhagen in 1928.

Hugo Iltis

In 1932, the fourth international conference of the WLSR was organized and hosted by Hugo Iltis in Brno.
He was a key organizer and host of the 1932 Brno congress of the World League for Sexual Reform.
